As estações de esqui da América do Sul abriram no último dia 12 e esperam um aumento de brasileiros de até 25% nas mais famosas, como Bariloche, na Argentina, e Valle Nevado, no Chile, segundo esta matéria do caderno Turismo (Folha de S. Paulo).
Sem necessidade de visto, os destinos são os preferidos também para quem não quer esbarrar na dificuldade da língua e/ou fazer uma viagem rápida. As opções para a temporada 2014, que deve se estender de 19 de junho a 15 de outubro, na Argentina são: Las Leñas, a única que permite esqui noturno; Chapelco, Villa La Angostura; Bariloche e Ushuaia. Já no Chile: Portillo; Valle Nevado; Chillán e Corralco, que conta com o novíssimo hotel de mesmo nome.

Ganhadores do Tony Award 2014
A lista de ganhadores da 68ª edição do Tony Award (Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre) foi divulgada no último domingo pela revista Variety, mesma data da cerimônia.
Entre os ganhadores do prêmio que consagra as melhores peças de teatro e musicais da Broadway, equivalente ao Oscar no cinema, estão: All The Way, como melhor peça; A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, melhor musical; e A Raisin in the Sun, estrelado por Denzel Washington, para melhor remontagem.

Bill Granger abre restaurante no Havaí
Ao abandonar a escola de artes e abrir o seu primeiro restaurante, Bills em Darlinghurst, em Sydney, em 1993, aos 24 anos, o chef australiano Bill Granger logo se tornou famoso pelos melhores ovos mexidos e pão quente da cidade e não parou de abrir novos Bills por aí. Em 2008, foi a vez de se arriscar no Japão, onde agora tem quatro restaurantes de sucesso, sendo dois em Tóquio.
Atualmente, Granger tem oito restaurantes, contando com o recém-inaugurado em Waikiki, Havaí, tema desta nota da Condé Nast (mai/14).
Ele ainda está a frente de séries de TV; publicou onze livros de receitas, que foram traduzidos em várias línguas e vendeu mais de 1 milhão de cópias em todo o mundo; e escreve para colunas de jornais e revistas semanais, tanto no Reino Unido como na Austrália.
